The world's first six-chamber mechanical fate engine. A 6-in-1 mechanical dice roller for tabletop RPGs.

Don't just roll. Witness the verdict.

How it works

Watch fate unfold.

This is the whole ritual, from the first pull to the final number.

  1. Pull. Each slider launches its own dial.
  2. Brake, or just wait. Move the slider to the middle to stop the dial yourself, or let it stop on its own.
  3. Read. The ball keeps rolling until it settles into a numbered slot, and that is your result.

The loop is recorded on the real prototype. The full film combines real footage of the prototype with digital renderings.

Inside the engine

Six sliders. Six springs. Nothing shared.

That is what you see on the table. Here is what happens beneath it: the body turns transparent and the mechanism shows.

The Binding

Six dragons. One seal.

Six mechanisms, six guardians. Six dragons were bound into a single metal seal, and each one still guards its own dial.

Questions.

Where can I order Dragon's Verdict?

On Kickstarter. Follow the project there and you get an email the moment the campaign opens. All rewards and pledge options are on the campaign page.

What is a mechanical dice roller?

A mechanical dice roller produces its result with moving parts instead of electronics or a thrown die. Dragon's Verdict uses springs, gears, six wheels and ceramic balls. It has no batteries and no screen.

How do I use it?

Pull a slider down and let go: the spring launches that dial. You can brake it by moving the slider to the middle, or just wait and it stops on its own. Either way, the ceramic ball keeps rolling on its own momentum until it drops into a numbered slot.

Which dice does it include?

The standard tabletop RPG set: D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 and D20. Each has its own dial and its own slider.

Does one slider control all six dials?

No. Each dial has its own slider. Pull one and the other five stay still.

Is the result random?

You can stop the dial, but not the ball. The ceramic ball rides its own momentum and drops into a numbered slot, so nobody can steer it. It is visible mechanical randomness, not a claim to beat a traditional die.

Can I use it for D&D and other tabletop RPGs?

Yes. It is made for tabletop RPG tables, including D&D-style games. Use one dial or several at once.

Does it need batteries?

No. It is fully mechanical.

When will it ship?

We plan to ship to backers in early 2027.

Your table.
Your verdict.

Every table has that moment: the roll everyone leans in for. Now everyone gets to watch it land.
